ESUDA at Almedalen

Yesterday we held a presentation about our energy-oriented projects, ”Large property holdings often have an unnecessarily high energy consumption and unnecessary power peaks” in Region Västerbotten’s premises at Novgorodgränd 1 in Almedalen. The team on stage was Leif Häggmark and Johan Stenlund from the ESUDA project and Lars Hansson from Nrlyze. Unfortunately, Christer Åhlund could not go to Almedalen, but gave part of the presentation remotely.

The presentation is available at https://www.almedalsveckanplay.info/71386 until the end of August.

Leif talks about the smart lamp posts that we set up in previous projects.

Leif talked about our previous project portfolio where we developed the IoT platform Snotra, which has been a prerequisite for the projects we run today.

Christer also showed off the Rayban Meta with two cameras and audio outputs. With them, you can ask questions about the objects you see, and get spoken answers.

Christer went on to tell us more about the projects we are running today, especially ESUDA.

Lars shows where the energy goes.

Lars talked about Nrlyze’s tool for balancing energy consumption in multi-family houses or commercial properties, and about the need to standardize the naming of sensor data from the property systems.

Here, Johan shows an example of heating to melt ice in the middle of summer.
Johan showed a number of examples that he encountered through his work in Leosol, where large amounts of energy are consumed unnecessarily because you do not have control, or do not have the knowledge to adjust the energy systems.

… and behind the wall.

Beautiful light through the gap in the ring wall.
